Wool Protector Fabpro's Wool Protector is a time tested chemical compound designed to inhibit and retard wool disintegration from organic sources. This product contains Magnesium Silicofluoride which is a poison. Mixture: To make one gallon of Wool Protector solution dilute ½ ounce (1 heaping tablespoon) of wool protector and ½ teaspoon of Fabpro's Concentrated Carpet Shampoo or Fabpro's Soil Retardant Carpet Shampoo to 1 gallon of water. Easy to use directions. Vacuum thoroughly. Unless the carpet is new, clean before treating. Spray solution, using a pressure sprayer, 12 inches above the carpet surface. Follow a definite pattern up and down and then back and forth over area four-foot square to insure adequate coverage. Normal coverage is 300-400 square feet per gallon. Deep pile carpets require more. Treat edges of carpet thoroughly. Treatment solution should be used along quarter round edge of wall to wall carpeting, and carpet should be pulled and solution sprayed on turn under. Area rugs should be sprayed on face fibers and on reverse side.
